Screenshot the invite from your group chat
Can a screenshot from iMessage or WhatsApp become a calendar event?
Yes. Your calendar cannot see your messages, so screenshot the invitation, email it to Muffin, and the details come back as an invite.
What you send
One screenshot from iMessage, WhatsApp, or any messaging app, attached to your email

What happens next
The details on an invitation card are part of the picture, so they cannot be copied even when the card is right in front of you. Muffin reads the image itself.
Your calendar may add the invitation automatically, or may ask you to accept it or open the attached invite file.
Limits that apply here
- Crop to the invitation before you send it. Less of the conversation reaches Muffin, and the reading is cleaner.
- One screenshot counts as one page, so it fits the free allowance of 1 page up to 10 MB.
- If the card names no city or timezone, Muffin asks you to resend with your timezone rather than guessing.
