What you can send
Muffin reads event details in the text of your email and in PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIC attachments. Images may be attached or embedded, and a PDF may contain selectable text or scanned pages.
| Limit | Free | Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Attachment pages per email | 1 | 10 |
| Attachment data per email | 10 MB | 20 MB |
| Attachment pages per monthly usage cycle | No separate quota | 100 |

Event details Muffin understands
- Dates, times, and durations
- Timezones stated in the content or set by a clear venue
- Recurring schedules, including their end conditions
- All-day events and deadlines
- Locations, venues, and joining links
- Several separate events in one email
- Optional instructions you write yourself
Where Muffin stops
- Unreadable or encrypted files
- Muffin explains that the file could not be processed instead of guessing at its contents.
- More than 20 calendar items
- Muffin does not create invitations for a submission containing more than 20 items. Resend a narrower selection.
- Material ambiguity
- When a date, time, timezone, or recurrence is genuinely unclear, Muffin creates no invitation and tells you the one detail to add.
- Canceling an item you already added
- Muffin does not reach into your calendar. A cancellation email tells you what to delete or decline yourself.
- Sharing an invite with other people
- Muffin replies only to the sending address. Invitations are not sent to anyone else, including recipients found inside forwarded content.
- Automatic calendar control
- Whether an invitation is placed automatically or needs you to accept or open it is decided by your own email and calendar provider.
When an attachment cannot be processed
Muffin never silently picks the first page or one image out of a bundle that is over the limit. The attachment is not processed, the response says so, and any usable text in the email body is still read. You can resend a smaller selection.
Language
ToMyCal officially supports English at launch. Muffin may understand event information in other languages, but accuracy is not guaranteed.
Try it with something you already have
A confirmation email, a class schedule, or a photo of a flyer all work.
